Computer failure causing major BART delay systemwide, agency says; seek alternate forms of transportation

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — BART is reporting major delays systemwide due to a computer failure, the agency said on Thursday.

Officials are asking passengers to seek alternate forms of transportation.

BART says there is mutual aid being provided by MUNI, AC Transit, Contra Costa Connection and SamTrans.

There is no word yet when the system will be running again as the agency works on the issue.
