If you’re looking for a chance to get outside and hear something a little different this weekend, there’s a free outdoor concert from the Little Rock Winds ensemble 7 p.m. Sunday evening in MacArthur Park. Also: free Blue Bell ice cream, free admission and free hand-held American flags from Woodman Life.

On the program: a baseball tribute with Randol Alan Bass’s “Casey at the Bat” with narrator (and Second Presbyterian Senior Pastor) Steve Hancock, the Presentation of Colors by the Little Rock Air Force Base Honor Guard; the Pledge of Allegiance led by Boy Scouts of America Troop 12 and the National Anthem performed by Little Rock Winds under the direction of conductor Israel Getzov. There will be special recognition of military veterans and active members as the band performs the service songs of all the U.S. Armed Forces.

There’s limited parking at MacArthur Park due to construction at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, but free trolley service runs before and after the concert between MacArthur Park and the Main Post Office parking lot at 600 E. Capitol Avenue.
