Four Stuttgart Lady Ricebirds earned a spot in this year’s Meet of Champions that was held Wednesday in Russellville.
Stuttgart sent Danyelle Poole, Danyae Poole, Kailey Bishop, and Sarah Tucker to compete in the 4×100 meter relay and the 4×200 meter relay. In addition to the team races, Danyelle Poole and Kailey Bishop ran the 100 meters and 200 meters. Danyelle Poole also competed in the triple jump.
The Ladybirds qualified by winning the 4A state titles in their respective events at last week’s state 4A track & field meet in Harrison.
