Tula is the Russian city traditionally associated with samovars (Russian boiling tanks). Indeed, in 1912 Tula had 50 samovar factories that produced 660 thousand pieces yearly. Tula is also famous for Tula honey-cakes, and the factory with the same name was founded back in 1872. But some people associate Tula with weapons in first place. And the city truly produces the best armament and military equipment for the Russian forces. Besides, Tula is a large industrial center one of the most successful cities of Russia. Although it’s population is 475 thousand people only.
